We are currently recruiting for qualified Heavy Diesel Mechanics/Fitters in Orange, Tamworth & Coffs Harbour, to support the Essential Energy Fleet improvement program.
You will be responsible for maintaining Essential Energy’s heavy plant machinery, including Elevated Work Platforms and Crane Borers, along with light fleet vehicles. You will safely use your skills and knowledge to ensure the reliable operations of mobile plant and equipment on site and in the workshop.
You will be a specialist in heavy and light vehicle maintenance and repairs, which may include hydraulics, pneumatics, auto-electrics, welding and fabrication and be able to demonstrate capability through past employment. Knowledge of vehicle standards and regulatory requirements for working in a high risk environment is essential.
- Certificate III Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or demonstrated capability through past employment experience and relevant qualifications
- Current NSW Driver’s License (HR)
- WorkCover NSW Construction Induction Cert – or be willing to obtain
- Attainment and ongoing successful maintenance of all regulatory and business licences, authorisations and certificates required for the role.
